Installing gauges

Going to put tranny, boost, pyrometer, gauges in. Seen posts on where to tap into tranny in pressure plug on side of tranny. Tryed to search site for pictures and info on the boost and pyrometer installation but couldn't find anything. Talked to tech at Geno's Garage and he was saying they have to be drilled and tapped one on the manifold and the other on the turbo pipe intake?, wondering if anyone has more info on this. Also which mounting would be easier ,pillar, dash? 2000F350 PSD,AUTO,RWD

for the boost i put mine in the map sensor line. some delete the air intake heater and use that port for the boost. on the pyro you have a couple of options. you can put it pre turbo by either drilling and tapping the driver side manifold or just drill a hole in the up-pipe and clamp it in or you can put it post turbo. my opinion is that pre turbo by drilling and tapping the manifold is the best way but i have not heard of any problems with the clamp style. i put my guages on the a pillar i have the triple guage pod with trans, boost and pyro with autometer z-series guages. they are a great match to my factory 2000 guages. you can go to http://www.dieselmanor.com/diy/PSD3-...D3gauge-p1.htm for some detailed instructions of the guage install
