problem while idleing!
my truck is an 87 f-250, 302 fuel injected.. ne way if i let my truck idle too long when i get back in it and push the gas it idles really low (about 600) and seems like its running out of gas...now it also has the "coughing" symptom while im driving..but most of the time i can feel it start to bog out and by feathering the pedal it goes back to normal..now i think its a fuel related problem but i dont know where to start because the scan tool doesnt seem to pick anything up related to that problem ....

Idle Problems
I had a similar issue with my '94 f150 302. I started by changing the fuel filter (since it seemed to starved for fuel). When that did not solve the problem, I changed the idle air control valve (IAC) which solved the issue. I think the IAC cost around $50. The installation took about 10 minutes.

i hope some 1 else has something more to add cuz first thing i changed was the IAC, cap, plugs, wires, starter, starter relay, pcv, steering pump, and vacum inspected and all look good new break booster, new fuel filter fuel reg turns on i can hear it. I was thinkin pcm maybe 157k miles on it i get error code 41 hego sensor but i know thats not killing the truck while cruisin down the street.
