Cold Start

When I first start my truck in morning there is this sound that seems to be coming from the rear of the engine on the drivers side. It sounds sort of like gears running together or a low growling, thats the only way I can descirbe it. Its not really loud but Im just wondering if its something that I need to be concerned with. I just started noticing as its been getting colder. Thanks

There is a hiss and also the "Jet" sound associated with the EBPV that is normal, but that is not what i would consider gears running or a growl.

Yeah I can hear my ebpv, I know what that is, this other sound though, I dont know.

Get someone you trust to crank the truck while you are under it and see if it is comming from the Torque Converter.
