Overhead Console not resetting

Overhead Console not resetting
Hi all,
I am hoping that someone can give me some advice here. I have an 01 F350 with an overhead console that has the temp, mileage, etc. and I cannot reset the data.
I am assuming a wire is loose or something, but if anybody has any ideas I will be more than open to taking a look.

The display is lit up, and the info I did have was to simply press and hold the erase button for a few seconds.
Unfortunatley I havent picked up a manual yet, baught the truck used, its on my long list.
If anyone has an 01 with specific instructions I would love to get a quick series of what the book says to at least make sure I am doing the right thing.
Also- Anyone have any good links for owners manuals?

OK, so after looking around and seeing some of the other issues that people have had with their overhead console, I decided to take it apart.
When I got it apart, I noticed that the button for the English or Metric units was not clipped on to the top of the switch very well.
I proceeded to take it apart, and found that the little metal disc inside had a little smoke, or something on it, so I simply wipped it off with my fingers. I put it all back together and BAM!! I was able to reset my mileage!
All in all, I would say that what happened was that the previous owner probably pressed to hard on the button and either bent it or popped it off of the setting on the controller board. I just needed to take it apart, clean it and bend the top little peice back to the original position to get it to clip over the mount on the board.
Sorry about no pictures, I was pretty excited and forgot to take them while I was fixing it.
