Almost off warrranty
My 2003 F350 is almost off warranty and not running so good seems to have a real bad diesel smell under hood lots of smoke when starting what tests do I tell the dealership to run to try and make sure they fix everything under thw sun that may be wrong don't want to start fixing big stuff after warranty over.

sounds like your ypipe. to be completely honest, you should not have to tell them what to do, give give them all the info possible. if there are other issues, if they are good, they will find them.
