dr performance

who has the dr perfromance preadtor did it trip and high fuel pressure codes and how was the power increase i want to get alittle more out of the truck and better gas miledge and how did the transmossin react to the power change. thanks.

I'd like to help you because I was looking into this also, but the reviews have not seemed to be to favorable. I'm sure someone will be along soon enough to tell you that it is no good. I have seen very few good reports but I also think that only a few have tried it, and the ones that have say that the tranny is ok as long as you use the 80hp one.

Well I Have Had The Dr Performance Stage Ii And It Performed Well Power Was Good And Mileage Was Fair, But It Kept Me Wondering On The Tranny , I Even Stacked It With The Edge Paltimun To Hepl The Tranny, Finally Got Rid Of Both , The Dr. Performance Is Over Priced If U Ask Me For What U Get , I Finally Went With An X-cal2 With Custom Tunes From Innovative Diesel, The Best Thing That I Haver Done For My Tgruck, Save Your Money And Go With An Sct X-cal 2 Instead Of Dr Performance In The Long Run You Will Be Much Happier And Much Safer I Believe

i wnant to run the low power 65 horespwer setting on anychip cause it keeps me worring about my headgaskets thats why i want to buy he drperformance perdetor it only increses fuel prseure and not the boost so i dont have to worry about blown intercooler tubes and it will be easier on headgaskets

I actually run a few psi less with the sct. Im going off my stock gauge, but with the stock tune in, I seem to be around 27-28, with the race tune in I am around 25-26.

well do u think i will have headgasket problems withe the 65 horsepower mode with sct or any other brand tuner reliability and gasmilige is key

I do know that the Dr. P box gives very good fuel mileage results. The power is good but won't snap your neck off. The key with the auto tranny is to follow the re-learn procedure to the T. Programmers have more flexibility but they have there issues as well.

ok so wat programers shoul i get i want good fuel econemy and not sacrifice head gaskets what tuneer is best for the 65 horese mode or tow mode and im also going to keep the stoch exhuast with a muffler and cat delete pipe. thanks
