Barry did you make it to the PRI show??? If so how was it??? Did you see Bill Coon's new cammer heads??? Hope you got the chance to hook up with RWJ and see his "collection". There was not much feedback on the other forum....just wondering how the show was and anything new for the FE there??
LOL yea I can't afford one either but it's nice to hear about all the new stuff guys are working on. And ya I think your pretty close on that conversion price. Your right not many of the other forum guys posted much....I thought there would be more chatter??
I still dont like that 6' of slinging chain in those...I dont know why someone like Danny Bee hasnt came out with a belt drive system for the them? It would be a hell of alot lighter, stronger, and with very minimal stretch after the initial stretch after brean in..
I did check out Kuhn's, Coon's, (spelling??) cammer head casting. There were a few other things on display too - Pond was there with his block, Kraft had CNC heads, Champion has a CNC head, T&D had the BT rocker assy...
I did get over to RWJ's place - how many Cammers can you fit in one barn?
Answer is a lot - Wayne has a very big barn... I got to talk to Earl Wade while we leaned against the Dyno Don Maverick - how cool is that?
Wow sounds like a cool time was had!!! I bet Wayne has a nice collection. Cars, engines...parts....all cammers!!! Sigh... Well thanks for the info. Like I said no one really said much about it over at net54 and was just curious. Nice to know the cammer parts are under way. These have been years in the making and I'm sure will be a while off. But nice progress is being made. Did you like Roberts blocks? What do you think compared to the Genesis??
Glad you had a good time... and thanks for the update.
