You callin' my truck Ugly? Unfortunately I must agree. It does look pretty ratty. I have never seen that many cobwebs in an engine compartment before. Still there does seem to be quite a bit of potential in the old dog.
Play nice, children . . . Nighteyez, the truck will be running in club colors with our logo so looks do count --- however, what looks nice parked in the infield under the lights of an oval track is not the same as what will look nice at a car show.
What of the steering? How expensive will it be to change it over to power?
I'm thinking of pulling the camper off within the next few weeks. In the meantime we'll work on coming up with a plan on just how we want to proceed. I have some thoughts on the matter, I just need to take a little time for them to gel...
And a Ford truck is never ugly, I would simply use the word, "rough"!
Hey Dan, if you took the camper of the '72, it'd be much more prettier
I thought we were going to get the light colored one towing your motor home? Can we scrap that one?
Who is good on FEs? We will want to rebuild one with my 390 parts, and do the oil mods. Who wants to assemble the engine? Need to have it done in Febuary.
Or do we want to swap out the engine and tranny?
btw, anyone else see the line that may be the joint between the head and intake manifold, under the valve covers?
