T19 Experienced Mechanic Question
I did so and after reassembly and driving the truck I now have a mechanical rubbing rattle/vibration most noticable on compresssion braking. The clutch feels normal and the truck drives and shifts good.
I originally thought I bent the input shaft by tumbling the tranny off the jack (accidental of course) during lifting.
I have kicking this around with a friend and he now thinks that when I replaced to top plate with the shifter mechanism, I didn't get the shift forks properly placed. before bolting it down and that the fork is rubbing against a gear or synchroniser or like.
What do you T19 experienced guys think of this theory?
