I just put a set of energy suspension swaybar bushings in my 2000 f350 4x4 and have a question. The kit came with four large washers and the instructions didn't mention where to put them. I put them on both sides of the lower link end because it looks like that joint would move more and the bolt was long enough.
Any of you ever install these? Where did you put the washers?
For those of you considering installing these it was easy, took an hour in the driveway. I pushed the old bushing out of the links with a ball joint press and a few sockets.
One washer gets slid down the bolt so it sits up against the bolt head and the other is the last thing before the nut. Which, if I'm reading your post correctly, is what you did.
HMMM see I put 1 washer on the TOP... and one on side opposite the swwaybar on the bottom.. My logic was that the Body acts as the washer on the outside of the top and the sway bar itself acts as the washer on the other side of the bottom..??
