Name that rear
My 56 f100 project came with a Dana Rear end. I have Google searched but can't identify it. I am pretty sure it is not an original rear:
Stamped on ring gear
ANA 12 12 58 30933 A3R41 55-19
I do know that the Ring = 55 teeth / Pinion = 19 making it a 2.89-1 ratio.
5 lugs 5 1/2" , get this: 3 1/2" wide brake shoes !
10 bolt rear inspection cover, 61 1/4" outside axle flange to outside Axle flange.
So....can anyone identify and know what year of vehicle this came from?
