IP leak

My injector pump is leaking out of the very bottom of the round part all the lines tie into. I checked the lines and do not believe it is them it seems to be out of the bottom of the pump any thoughts on this please.

might be leaking from the weep hole in the bottom of the mounting neck. OR one of the line ferrules is cracked.
use a paper towel and dry off the fuel. run the engine at idle for a few moments and place the paper towel under skinny neck at the front of the pump. The weep hole is in the center of the skinny neck part of the pump. Internally there are vicon seals to separate the drive from leaking. You can get that pump rebuilt or get a replacement pump.
each fuel line has a ferrule that seats on the pump, if the lines are not held in position (the line clamps missing) the lines will vibrate and cause the ferrules to crack and leak.

I would shoot for the weep hole first. Let us know what you discover.

What is a ferrule? The thing that holds all the lines together?

A inward shaped flare that goes against the pump? I am guessing that if it is bad the line will need replaced. I ask cause I have a line that just started leaking on my IP.

Be carefull when seating the fuel lines. A new one will set you back about $60.00

A good tip for looking for a leak...

Spray the IP with brake cleaner and blow it with compressed air. It will dry instantly and the leak then will be easy to pin point.

Another way is dye and a black light but most people don't have this stuff.
FYI. For future reference. Use the dye for engine oil. Mix some dye with some fuel and put it in your fuel filter.

Are you sure it ins't the advance piston and fuel is running back? These leak there alot.
