stange noise
Hi there a strange noise coming from the area where my transmision is toward the engine. The noise goes away when I press in the clutch. The clutch is new about 4,000 miles on it. The noise originally only occured when the clutch was engaged and the trans was in neutral but now it makes the noise all the time. If anyone might know what this is let me know thanks.

you have a bad throwout bearing is my vote.
the hint was you said it made noise from the beginning and it only got worse.
you should have gone right back to the shop that did the work unless if it was you.
