Dana 44 leaking
Wondering what is involved in replacing front seal on my D-50 or 44. It is the IFS and is leaking a small puddle everytime i park. But it only leaks after driving the truck, leaks a small puddle then no more comes out. Fluid level is good. Tried a thicker weight with no luck. Looks like the whole axle must be disassembled....

It is leaking from between the front casting and rear. Since it is IFS the front casting is part of the left arm and rear part of the right arm i think. It looks to be coming from the bottom of the front pumpkin... I forgot about the vent...where is the vent located?? Seems like the pumpkin only leaks for a short time after driven, then stops...
