no 4 wheel low
cant seem to get my rig into four low its a manual shift 90 bronco
with 5 speed trans do I need to take the linkage down and fix or
can I leave it on the truck and repair it there gos from 2high to 4 high very easy

I have never driven a manual tranny bronco. On mine, you have to go through an exact process. I have to have the transmission in neutral before it will go into low range. I have a stick on the driver sun visor. Are you using the correct procedure?

Some have just sprayed the parts on the side of the tranny for the transfer case shifter with a lube and worked it until the shifter would move. All you can do is get under the truck and watch the linkage move while someone sits in the cab and works the lever for you so you can see what is going on.

Can you get the t-case into Neutral? Do you have auto or manual hubs? Try letting the truck roll back a little while engaging into 4L the gears might be out of alignment between the front diff. and the t-case.

i have sprayed and lubed it like crazy i think im going to have to remove and clean the whole bracket assembly right now it wont even go into neutral just goes from 2 high to 4 high truck has sat for close to 4 years before i got it if you guys have any other ideas let me know thanks again
