Build Date Question

Build Date Question
Hey guys I'm looking at a truck that has a build date of Dec 23rd 2003. Should I be worried about this year? Or is it still hit or miss? I have run an oasis on it already and it doesnt seem to horrible but I'm not really sure what I should even be looking at.

With 2004, there are good ones, and bad ones... more good than bad, of course. Knowing the service, warranty and maintenance history would help you decide. If you PM me the VIN, I'll check OASIS for you and give you my opinion.

Mine was awesome...10/2003 build date so it wasn't an '03 engine in a '04. My cousin had an '03/'03 dually and it never saw the shop in 84,000 miles 'cept for regular maintance. He is now just as happy with his '06.
