Removing the thermostat
Probably a stupid question but I know little about cars....I need to replace the thermostat....I took the thermostat housing off and can see the thermostat.....I'm trying to take it out but it won't budge....I'm too scared to break something....am I missing a step????

You can also take a flat head screw driver and wedge it into the Tstat and break it loose, just make sure you don't push it too far through and gouge the housing. If you have a rubber hammer that would be the thing to hit it with or take very gentle taps with a metal hammer.
