Lightbulb Remote Starter question.

I have a 2002 F-150 (E/C, LB, 4.6, 2WD) and I ordered a gold series remote starter/alarm for it. I was doing a little surfing and found a T harness to use with aftermarket kits that keeps you from having to cut into the ignition wires. I realize I will have to splice into the door loks and lights ect... but will the T harness work wit the factorry kit? It should be just like splicing in only without cuttuing any wires right? If my lodgic is faulty someone please straighten me out. Thanks.
Jeff

the t harness should match up if it's for your vehicle. If you've installed a aftermarket sterio before.... it should work about the same way. You wire the t- connector to your remote starter.... then plug in the male and female harness to the t-harness

I went ahead and bought one. I figure that it will be $20 well spent if it keeps me from hacking into my ignition system.

Do you have a link where you purchsed this connector? I just bought remote starter yesterday and would love to not have to tap into the existing ignition wires.

www.bulldogsecurity.com They have all the parts and wire diagrams. I actually bought the T harness on amazon for a little less but it was a bulldog product.

Not wanting to hi-jack your posts but is the bulldog a good product? They sell them here in British Columbia for about $149.00 at Wallyworld.

I actually bought a factory ford kit on ebay. I was looking at the bulldog kit before I found the factory one.
