U-Joint question
I own a 2002 F-150 scab Lariat 4x4 with the 5.4 and the 9.75 rear end. I recently replaced the rear u-joint. Taking off the old u-joint presented some difficulties but it was not that bad. It was the original Ford U-joint and I used the old impact socket and hammer trick. My question is, How come the new U-joint went together so easily? I did not have to hammer it at all. Is this common with replacement U-joints? I know I had the correct u-joint. Thanks for any responce.
