Price for 56 big window?
I have a chance at a 56 Big window, recently painted over no rust and apparently drives very nice. It does have a small block Ch$%vy and auto however.
The owner is very close to selling it. I have no idea what kind of price range is reasonable for it. Any ideas?

We'd need a few more details including what part of the country you are in. Of course the BBW truck is much more valuable.
In the Pacific NW, last spring, I had a chance to purchase a '56 big back window in pieces with a GM front clip and olds 350 / 350 with a full Corvette rear end for $3k. I passed on it and spent $1100 for a project truck which I am converting to a big back window (partially done) with a Mustang II front suspension and custom interior and a Ford 9" rear. I now have well over the $3k into my truck and it's not as far along as the other truck was. However, I'm thoroughly enjoying the project. Also enjoyed PF2001!!
