red lines on 48 grill
How many red lines are on the front grill of a 48 f-1?
some books say 2?
there are five bars, does each bar get two ,for a total of ten?
my grill has 5 coats of paint and is hard to see
I have not seen any good pictures
please post any info

According to a website that was around a year or so ago, the 1948 "grill bars were painted silver and each had a red pin stripe about 1/4" down from its top edge."
