Follow the brake lines from the master cylinder down to where they converge at the proportioning valve (PV). The switch is mounted on the PV and has one wire going to it. To check the warning light circuit (other than the switch) remove the wire connector from the PV switch terminal and temporarily jumper the wire connector to ground. With the ignition switch in "Run" the "Brake" warning light in the upper instrument cluster should illuminate.

It is usually Under the cab drivers side bolted to frame.

By the way...Cheques up this way involve money

We also use the word "Check" but it isn't money related .....unless....the check involves.... a cheque...or cash

ok i did find it right under the master and it does light up when i conect it to ground but when pluged in to the valve wich since the rear breaks don't work that don't make any sense.

What? Try saying that again. Maybe in shorter sentences with punctuation. Does the light come on when connected to the switch on the proportioning valve?

the pressure differential switch isn't going to cause him to not have rear brakes. it sounds like either adjustment or master cylinder issues to me.

My question is what does pedal feel like?
When you bled the rear brakes were you gettting fluid from the bleeders? How much fluid?

to adjust the rear brakes, spin the wheel as you use a screw driver or brake adj. tool to turn the star wheel. It will turn one way relatively easily, and the other way will be quite difficult. you want to go the easy way until you start to feel the drum drag slightly.
