Alarm LED Location?

Where is the location for the alarm system's LED on a 2001 F-250? I'm putting in an alarm and would like the LED to be in the stock location.

My 04 has it to the left of the steering wheel and about 1 inch down from the seem.

There is no stock location. SD's don't come from the factory with security systems and the "Ford" systems that a dealer might install have installation instructions that simply say "Identify a suitable mounting location for the status LED." I think most installers put the LED right where function12's is because it's close to where they're going to stuff the control module up underneath the driver's side of the dash.
