You might want to think about a vacuum recovery system to supplement the heating.
That will do three things for you:
1. Reduce energy use because you wont have to heat it so hot.

2. Reduce oxidation of your BD and extend storage time.

3. Improve the quality of your BD

Evertime you heat BD you increase the potential for oxidation which results in increased FFAs. The hotter it gets the more likely that oxidation will occur.

Fab probably knows the critical temp.

Vacuum is soooo outdated. I've come up with a new system Will try and get it posted the first of the week

His new system is not for the faint of heart. His brain operates like Spock and we're just tagging along. Use vaccum and let good ol Don get his new Nitrogen Flash Evaporator going so we can have plans for that too. Hey I like what I just callled your new seperation protocol, how bout that.
