Question Ball joint problem??

I have a 1985 ltd crown vic , circle track car and my driver side wheel is leaning in bad should be leaning out b/c of camber i put in it any way its looks like the ball joint could be letting it lean like that but i can jack it up and it pulls back in and let it back down its fine but its does when your turning it leans in but it still has spring pressure to pull it back in once you jack it up what and i really cant move it up and down unless i really torque on it i was looking at some picture is there a bushing that goes with the lower ball joint or is that just boot over it what was there is gone there just a ring on top and its tore all to shreds and if i do haft to replace the lower ball joint someone said i will have to replace the a arm also???? i got 20 days before the next race so hurry please

The lower ball joint should be fixed in the arm. Fixed means either pressed, rivoted or bolted to the a arm. It's a race car, so I would certainly replace the ball joints at an earlier schedule than the manuals specify. Another point to look at is the bushings on the a-arm to frame or that side tie rod. If you can get movement out of any of those by hand, replace them.
