I have had 2 55 wat halogen fog/driving lights on the rear of my 1994 F150 for several years now (also removed the original/standard bulbs from their sockets, as to not overload the circuit) anyway...I recently replaced the parts stors cheapies with the same type of light as is used on the fog lights of the Lightening trucks up front.
well, one evedentally blew a bulb, so I went and replaced it, and in doing so while I was checking everything out I have evedentally popped a breaker or something as now neither light will come on--I can't find a fuse in the fuse panel, so there must be a breaker somewhere?? I have never had a problem until now, and absolutely love being able to see behind me, espessely when I need to back my car trailer into darkness. any ideas?? Thanks!
Usually breakers in these trucks are self reseting. They get hot, trip, cool off then trip again. Double check all your connections, and look at every fuse in the fuse panel, and check with a test light on every fuse in the fuse panel. Usually most of the breakers are under the hood in the power distribution block with the relays and maxi fuses, why Ford would put a simple circuit like back up lights in there i dont know, but it could happen so check those fuses too.
