Where does number one go?

Where does number one go?
I have a new accel dizzy and under the cap it dont say which one is number one, Anyone know how to find out which one is.

Number one can go anywhere on the cap, but the rest have to follow in the correct firing order. Normally number one terminal on the cap is about at the 12to 1 O'clock position on the cap, looking at the engine from the front of the vehicle. Distributor rotation is counter-clockwise as is the firing order.
