anyone tell me what a '53 f-100 grill (in primer) and a set of headlight buckets might be worth... the grill is sound and in good condition...

If you want to see the high side of prices, look on Ebay. I've seen them start anywhere from $20.00 and up!

The following quotes just my opinion of course. Very nice grill that is good enough to chrome without any straightening $125-150. Nice fixer upper that needs a bit of MIG action but basically real straight $50. As the previous poster said though you'll see them all over the spectrum.

One that looks really great, but contains bondo is not worth as much as a really straight non-bondo-ed one, because the bondo-ed one cannot be crome plated with the bondo still on. Not that everyone wants to chrome plate them, but it reduces your options if it has bondo. I just lost out on an ebay auction tonight (too slow on the mouse button) a VERY straight one sold for about $46, and was platable. Of course, the plating will probably run another couple hundred $$, so if you want a plated one, and can find one under that price in good condition, jump on it.
