235 85-16 on Excursion

My boss has a set of Les Schwab Wild Country LT235 85-16E with about 70% tread. Is there any reason I shouldn't run these? The tires are slightly taller and narrower then stock, what I have now. I know it will throw off my speedo and trip computer a little but they are only an inch or two taller. I am worried it might wander with the narrower tread, should that be a concern? I am curious how much it will cut my rpm on the highway. With the 4.30 gears I wouldn't mind a couple hundred rpm off at freeway speed. Even though my personal opinion is 4.30's should have been standard on gas Ex's.

I'm running the same size tire. It's nearly the same exact OD as the factory 265/75r16 tires. Here is a link to compare tire sizes: http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos

Frankly, I think I like the look of the 235/85 tire better. It makes it look more "truck-like", IMHO, and might give you a shade better fuel economy due to the contact patch being a bit smaller.

Knock yourself out!
