A good Exhaust System
hey guys
was looking to put an exhaust system on my 2001 f150 Super Crew King Ranch
and wasnt too sure of which one or what my options are, i was leaning more towards the cat back but again not too sure on the other brands and what they offer
if anyone can recommend some brands or help my out with some basic info that would be great

I just installed a 3" Magnaflow cat-back system (15609) on my 2000 5.4L F150. The sound is MUCH nicer than stock (you can actually hear it), but not too much. My wife has absolutely no problems with the new sound (she usually hates ANY exhaust "noise"). I have noticed a nice little extra oomph out of it (and no, I'm not subsidized by Magnaflow in any way). I installed it myself in about an hour on the garage floor, with only a socket and a sawzall. Great fit and looks great, too. Too bad it's under the truck, it is quite a beautiful piece.
All of the claims are true. You should expect a little more snort out of it. If you're expecting the acceleration to snap your neck back after install, keep looking. I have noticed about 1 MPG gain with it, too. Tough to keep my foot out of now, it sounds great!

The Magnaflow cat-back is also what I'd recommend for any F-150. It's what I have and the performance and tone puts a big smile on my face
