Ignition coil resistance ?

Ignition coil resistance ?
The coil is out of 86 5.0L EFI. The truck currently doesn't start. Wants to but doesn't seem to have enough umph. The readings I get from the coil are:
+ to - 2 ohms
+ to main - 7k ohms
- to main - 7k ohms
The windings pack moves on whatever it's mounted on. I can't find any place to see if these numbers are good.. Anybody know the specs and could tell me if it within acceptable ranges?
