hello ford fans!! My name is jimmy and i've just joined up here, i now live in Humboldt county but am from Canada originally but don't hold that against me, i grew up with some good 'ol ford loving boys, I just bought my second bronco (rolled my first one into a mud/water/peetbog pit that was deeeeep!!) anyway it's been a project '79 bronco ranger xlt, i put in a dana 80 rear, 60 front, and attached some 44" super swamper tsl boggers to the hubs, got 4wheel discs to stop 'em and swapped in a 460 to turn 'em, i kept the c6 tranny and rebuilt the np203 transfer case, added hydraulic steering to turn easier am currently redoing the interior, i added a 6"body lift, and a 20" suspension lift to have clearance up to a 50" tire (i'm still not sure if thats legal here in cali??) and i put on nickel plated headers and 3.5" flowmaster exhaust, right now my 460 is pretty stock except for oversized lumpy cams and lifters, edelbrock intake manifold and a holley 750cfm carb, so thats a little about me and my rig, look forward to meeting/chatting with you all in the future, jimmy
Hi Jimmy, and welcome! If you haven't already done so, why not join the chapter as long as you're here. Click on the link below and follow the directions:
What part of northern California are you from? Dan and I are thinking of getting down in the dirt, mud, and beer with some of the neighbor chapters - you sound like you might be interested in a grudge match mud bog?
We were thinking of building something we would not mind tearing up.
