Buy from the country you live in or live in the country in which u buy from. Toyota is **** compared to Ford/Gm thats y superduties and silverados built there plants, lol. Toyota quality is a joke, friend is on his 3rd engine and 2nd trany on his 95 camry, friends 87 5.0 has over 200k on original engine and tranny and still can pull off a low 14. Civics are a joke, make that all ricers except the ones that are priced in the same range as a cobra/vette, the only way to compete with cheap domestic performance is drop 5k into some pos econo box import. Import trucks, the only ones that can compete with ford and chevy are the tundra and titan, but the f-150 and silverado allways 1 up them in every category the only way they can look tuffer is in there bs commercials were they compare there fully loaded version to the competitions base model. I really dont have a drive to buy a import either. Its true, are domestics in some cases are made in mexico or canada, but do u think that hurts are economy as much as buying a car thats made here or mexico but the company is based out of a different country. There is no fair trade when it comes to imports, they cheat also. If we could cheat liek the imports and find a loop hole around every corner then we prob have cars going for 5k less with even better warranties. Gm has the 5yr 100k on there cars and trucks, ford has a 6yr 75k? Im not sure about fords but the focus comes with a 5yr 100k warranty, what kind of warrenties does toyota/honda have? How much more are parts for a import then a domestic? i was told the new Honda civics spark plugs cost 60 dollars for a set, now how much does it cost for a domestic? All this dependible built the best import **** is a bunch of media hype to persuade americans into embracing a world economy, were everyone builds goods for america and america only concentrats on services. **** on imports.
