IAC and whistle?

IAC and whistle?
Hello Ford truck gurus:
Quick question for you. I am fairly certain that I need to replace my IAC in my 2003 Explorer Sport Trac (4x4 4L SOHC) due to some slight engine shutters and decrease in RPMs at idle. I attempted to clean the IAC sometime earlier in the year, but it never really solved the problem (lots of carbon buildup inside). While driving home last night, I heard a high-pitched constant whistle for about five seconds. The noise went away when I let off of the accelerator. Is there any way that the noise I heard is related to the IAC? Just thought I would throw this question out there and see if anyone had some advice.
Happy holidays

Next question...does anyone know of an auto store where I can buy an IAC? I am in southern Ohio, and it doesn't appear that AutoZone, NAPA or Advance Auto carry the part. These are about the only three parts stores in my area. I did find an IAC on RockAuto's website, identified as Motorcraft Part # CX2065, for $45.79. Any advice as to other stores that may carry the part, or whether the part listed on RockAuto's website is the right one will be greatly appreciated.
