had access to a '95 f350 5.8 without a rear axle, is there anything in particular I could get from it to use on my bronco? I know you're going to say the front axle, but I don't want to spend money on getting a rear one to match and all new wheels(especially since i'm only running 36inch tires). The engine has a rear main oil leak, and I'm assuming it would be a lot of trouble to swap it and the tranny, and probably not worth it. The transfer case is cracked too, I think. Is there anything else worth buying the truck back from the ins. company for or do you think its better to just let it go at this point?
i know if it were me i'd be buying it back. yea that front 60 is worth a good deal and would be a shame to see go. also if the tranny is a manual those ZF's can be pricey as well
i could think of a hundred things i could use but then again i have a96 sittin in the drive right now so i have good reasons, lol
Yeah, thats the problem, there isn't much I can use off of it for my bronco.
We went and looked at it today actually and it might not be as bad as we thought, my dad might piece it back together and use it as an off road truck. (the frame is either slightly bent or may have a small crack, so its pretty useless as a work truck at this point and the v10 has already been set up to replace it with all the plow equipment)
