Need truck Advice??
Im not sure what to do... I have been building my 1987 F250 and its exactly what I expected, a bit of a make work project. My wife has a beautiful 1997 4Runner with 3" lift and 285/75/R16s on it... Really nice truck and fun to drive, really reliable too....
I recently stumbled upon a 2000 F350 extended cab long box PSD 6 speed with 100 000KMS, ( 60 000 miles ) for $20 000 canadian ( $16 600 US )
My wife and I are thinking of getting rid of the 4Runner and the 87 F250, keeping my Bronco, and getting into this 2000 PSD... we are feeling that 3 vehicles for the 2 of us may be a little much...
Now... the 4 runner... I could not care if it comes or goes.... great truck, but no attachment to it...
But the Diesel... I really like that pile of crap.... sure it breaks all the time, and is all I expect from a 1987 F series with 400 000 KMS.... But I really like it.... ( I also walk to work, have the diesel, and my lifted bronco, and am a licensed automotive technician )
On the other hand... I have a 1989 bronco that breaks all the time too... it can fill my need to work on an 80s Fseries/bronco, and a 2000 PSD with 60 000 miles would be nice

What do I do????

Bob
That is without knowing anything about your financial situation or what you are trying to accomplish.
When I got the bronco it was a bone stock 302 automatic.... has come a long way since then....
Sounds to me that you haven't got to the same point with the 87 F250 as your bronco....do you tow or use the the diesel with a camper? What I'm asking, do you really need a diesel....and if the answer is yes, go with the 2000 F350. At a 100,000 kms, its still new and $20,000.00 sounds like a great price.
