64 Radiator

I was wondering if a radiator from a 70's truck will bolt into my 64 F100. If not what will? The radiator in it now is from a chrysler but I have no idea what vehicle.

Yep! Pretty much all fit. Pay attention to where the hoses connect and after that its just four bolts. 6 cylinder trucks use a small radiator with a block off plate. You can also rebuild what you have for about what a replacement will cost.

nm, I hate to do this, but if you are going to be playing with old trucks you need to aquire a good tape measure, and learn how to use it. You can get a 1" 25ft Stanley for about $10.00. Measure it for yourself and you will know if it will work.

Thanks John, I certainly understand what you are saying but william mentioned that the radiator was different for 6 cylinder so I was wondering if the radiator support was also different.

I do have the measurements but when I look up the specs on the radiators they don't seem to matchup very well with whats in my truck.

Correct, and he also said "Yep! Pretty much all fit."

In order for that to happen, the support would have to be the same, but what the hey if it is not you can adjust.

Getting the finger nails dirty is the way to learn.
