i read somewhere not all 44's have a crush sleeve? is this true. i bought a solid axle out of a 78 150 and when i took the pinion out all i have that goes on the end is the shims, then the bearing, the slinger and the yoke. am i missing something or do you set up pre load with yoke nut torque and no crush sleeve? i just wanna make sure im not missin any parts. im not familiar with these smaller axles so any help or "insight" would be appreciated
