Hey, I don't know about dropping your van but I'm trying to lift my E-350 Diesel and was wondering the same thing. So does anyone know if the front suspension on a 2wd E-350 van is anything like the front suspension on a 2wd F-250/350?

The main difference in that the van's frame is wider as is the rear axle.

Hmmm... kinda old thread but I'll drop my $.02 anyway.

The E-series chassis is 42" wide compared to 36" for the F-Superduty. While the designs are similar, the two lines have NO common parts... beams, spindles, springs, etc.

Makes you long for the halcyon van days of the 70's, doesn't it?

I have to disagree with you tinman. According to parts america (I trust them over autozone) the front springs are the same between an E150 and an F150 supercab. You must remember that they share the same wheel base. The wheel bearings are also the same. This leads me to believe that the spindle is the same.

The bronco is the same as the F150. Like I said previously the F150 kit for a supercab (if they list it) will work. The springs are the same, which means that the rest of the front end is the same. The only difference is going to be the fact that the I-beams are longer which won't hurt anything.

Hendricksbus... what year/model van are we talking about here? I checked your profile and saw you have a '93... is that what you're working on? If so, then pfogle apears to be correct. I only have access to the newer models' info. and they have no common part #'s with other models of the F-series (150, or Superduty.)

Either way, do post some pics as you go as I like seeing anything lowered!

Yeah, in '93 the van and truck chassis are almost identical. The van's frame is wider, and the regular cab cab truck has a shorter wheelbase (133inches instead of 138inches).
