Aloha to all, A few months back there was a thread from some member regarding Fords tire replacement due to low mileage and balance problems. I'm trying to make the Dealer here on the Big Island replace mine on my 04 SCAB 150 4WD Lariat. Only have 18000 miles on the set and the truck but they are almost worn out. Any info from anyone, especially TSB numbers or any other refrence about this would be greatly appriciated. This Service writer says I'm full of crap, that Ford never did this. BFG 18'' Tires. Stay warm if you can over there!!!! Thanks Guys, Larry in Kau

I didn't even use the letter at my dealer. I referred to it, saying that I felt my tires should be replaced for "rapid" tire wear after only 16k miles, they were down to just 3/32". They replaced them, no questions asked. Of course they put on the same old crappy BFG's. I got 7k on them now so far and they seem to be wearing a little better than the old ones.
also had the tires on my 04 screw replaced do to rapid and uneven wear .
Dealer let me choose so i went with the rugged trails in the same size that comes on the 4x4's can't rember the size off of the top of my head but looks much better to me. check out my gallery
OK Guys, Ive printed out a couple copies of the letter from Ford and I'll walk in with one for them tomorrow. I really mean walk in after I get off a 50 mile bus ride. They have had my truck for a week now to replace the diff clutch pack. Now they say they have to order parts and come get the truck till the parts arrive. SOS all the time. I'll let ya know what happens. Thanks again, Larry in Kau
