Help with drivability question

I have a 94 F150 with the 5.0 engine and e4od tranny, 4wd.

A couple of days ago, I got stuck in some heavy snow and couldn't get front wheels to lock in - turns out I've got a stripped out hub. Managed to rock myself out anyhow and later that day could barely get the truck to move.

It feels like it wants to shift all the way to high gear even at about 5 mph. When going down the road tranny hunts quite a bit. We've gotten too much snow for the road commision to handle ( ) so I haven't been able to get it above 40 mph lately to see if OD is working. Also, I just about got stuck turning into my subdivision, and it seemed like no matter what I tried I couldn't get it to spin both wheels. I don't have limited slip, but usually in sand or on slippery roads I can spin both - not today.

Also, when it feels like it has shifted to high gear, it REALLY feels like the engine is working hard and (snow/ice covered roads) I litterrally cannot keep it going straight.

HELP: Any one got ANY ideas?

Thanks,
Tim

My guess is the trans is on it's way out from the rocking back and fourth you had done earlier.

Will I do any further damage if I drive it if necessary?

Thanks,
Tim

I wouldn't drive it unless I had to.
