I have a 95 powerstroke that has light to moderate blow by. Should i have the engine rebuilt or will it last a while for me? I have 172k on the truck and i use about a quart of oil every 1k miles. Also i saw a ccv kit that they say stops blow by, is this true that blow by can be stopped.

All diesels have some blow by, some more than others and it's nothing to worry about.
There's an instrument that you can use to measure the amount of blow by, I forget it's name right now.
