Fuel Filter## Same or not ?
|Just went to renew my fuel filter for the first time on 4.6 screw (2004) but when looked appears to have pretty fancy hose ends fitted in the factory.
At a risk of breaking them I left, it is there a trick to getting the hoses off each end ? The replacement Fram unit I have just has steel straight ends.

On some vehicles there is a green tab that must be depressed and then pull the fitting back on the side to the fuel tank. Its real easy to break and requires a complete set of lines to the rear to repair. Very costly mistake.
