Last night everything was fine. Tonight I left work, turned my headlights to on and took off. As it got a little darker I noticed I don't have any lights on in the cluster. I rolled the dimmer up and down, then flipped over to auto. On auto my cluster lit up properly. I turn it back to on and continue on. When I got to my first stop, I left the motor running and lights on. I checked my head and tail lights to see if I have any other problems. No tail lights. So I turn the switch to auto. Tails and cluster light up correctly. I pulled fuses 35 and 41 both were good.
I am suspecting my headlight switch, but in the day light I will be going over all of the fuses. Anyone have this before?

Power locks, windows, pedals work. Door switches illuminate in either postion.
I think you're on the right track suspecting the headlight switch, since it was effecting the instrument panel and taillights as you described. I wouldn't think it'd be a fuse, since you said you had no tails when you had the switch on, but then the tails came on when you switched to auto... I think the switch is the issue.
It was a connection for the remote start on the back of the headlight switch. Odd that a three year old splice would give up the ghost overnight, with no signs.
