i have a 06 F-150 with 9000 miles. I can be goin to the road and all of the sudden i hear somthin scrubin like medal on medal. When i push the break and slow down to about 20 i hear like a bumpin noise and the noise stops. It may do it again today or may stop for 2 weeks. Any suggestions.

Kinda hard to troubleshot it from your description.
Where's the sound coming from? What speed does it happen. On throttle or off? Does it happen during acceleration?
Where does it sounds like the 30 mph bumping noise is coming from? Does it only happen when the are pressing the brake pedal?

It just does it at any speed, and it has no affect on the brakes at all. The bumpin comes right before i stop. Its not a recurring problem. its only don't 3 times. i'm think its goin to be somthin in the hubs cause its comin from the front and i don't think it can be brakes.

It sounds as though the electronic "shift on the fly" hubs may be only partially engaging. Take it in. You may be able to make the sound go away temporarily by switching into 4H and back, but let the dealership take a look at it.

While I was changing my oil the other day, I found the heat shield above the left catalytic converter rubbing on my front drive shaft. I don't know how it got that way. I only heard a noise there once and didnt think much of it. Now I know what caused it. It's somewhat flexible, so I just pushed it up out of the way. You might check that.
