Alright guys, here’s my scenario. I have a 01 F-250 PSD, AT, 4x4 with 125,000 miles on her. I currently have gauges (boost, pyro, tranny), 4 inch exhaust, 6637 filter, BTS valve body, and DP tuner with 40 hp tow, 80hp econ, and 120 hp race. I had planned just to do these basic mods and leave the truck alone but the PMS bug has bit me so here we go.

I’ve been saving up some money – I’m ready to add some bigger mods. What I would like to hear is what you guys would do with about $4000 if this was your truck. I want to add more power but safely.
2001 model should have PMRs. Like Alan, I would be going for the full BTS tranny. You can make all the power you want, but if you can't get that power to the ground, it won't do you any good. With the BTS trans in place, you can go after whatever you want for power and have no problems on down the road with your trans. Keep this in mind too, the trans is probably the most expensive thing to upgrade, until you get into much bigger things. While you've got the money, go ahead and get it done.
But, if you insist on some other mods, here's a list to consider:
-Externally regulated fuel system, about $450
-In tank and pre pump mods (hutch & harpoon mods), around $50
-Turbonetics/Spearco drop in replacement turbo and intercooler, $2500
-Big oil (twin HPOP system), anywhere from $2000 to $3000 depending on the system.
But, if it were my truck, I would be getting the trans done first.
