Rough Start Up!

I Have a 96 F150 with a 302. Recently I have noticed that my start up were taking a bit longer than usual. When I turned the key it would take the starter a few or more cranks to start up the engine. Well, she's got just shy of 200,000 miles on her so I changed out the starter for a all new modle from the Advanced Auto. Now it still takes a few or more cranks to start up the engine, but the starter sounds like some futuristic machine gun. Should it take more than a 1 or 2 count to start up my 302 or is there possibly an ignition problem I haven't found. Any Insight would be awsome. By the way, once she's running she has a smooth idle, but sometimes wants to stall out when I am backing.

Last turn up was one year ago this month. Very regular maintenence and only about 1 or 2 thousand miles since, if that.

could be several possibilities. have you ever replaced/cleaned the injectors?? is this only when you crank it cold, or even after it's been running and engine is at operating temp??

Only when starting up. It's not bad. But compared to other vehicals I have had it is a little on the slow side. As for the fuel injectors, those I clean fairly regularly with sea foam additative and I do run a high grade of gas.
