I installed front cab corners on 54 panel project and they are not finished yet just welded in. But I am not very happy with the fit of these panels the edge that goes against the door is rounded where the
factory edge was a sharp corner.Has anyone else had this problem and what to do about it? Just fill it to make it square?I am trying to build up with weld to cut down on filler. Any ideas.
I used these corner panels on my '54 F-100, and your right they suck. I saw that before I welded them into place, and cut them down the center of the bend, then flattened each half of the bends, and welded them back into place on both sides. Then gently sanded then to match the rest of the profile. I did this on three of the four corners. Hope that helps.

Tonight, I just cut the LF cab corner off my '56 F100. I'm building a replacement part of the front sill to match up to a new inner panel and outer skin. I'm going to replace the RH side while I'm at it.
I'm also replacing the entire front section of the floor.
