Puffs Blue?

Puffs Blue?
I was wondering i have an 86 f150 5.0 fuel injected and i noticed today that when im driving and i let off the gas to shift a small blue puff comes out my pipes and goes away it only does it when i rev it up or shift not at idle or going down the road, and its just tiny bit. How bad is this? Thanks

Try this: find a long downhill and get up a little speed in say, 3rd gear, and then let off the gas and coast. Watch your pipes in the mirror and see if you get any blue smoke, especially after you get back on the gas. This would be an indicator of bad valve guides or maybe stem seals if you're lucky.

plus it would smoke first thing in the morning I think.
