Trip Odometer on E-450
I have motorhome on an E-450 chassis. The trip odometer rolls back to zero after 999 miles. Is normal or is there something that can done so that it will go to 9999 before rolling over? Limited to 999 miles is rather useless on a motor home or if you just keep track of oil changes which I do.

Come to think about it, I have never seen one go that high, I doubt it can count over 1k. Trip is really for short distances, I use mine for fill ups. I would assume you have a diesel, so I would suggest installing an hour meter. If your intrested in keeping track for oil changes, it will provide you with very accurate info.
